Occult Parasitic Energy Loss in Heat Engines - Frank A. Tinker, Ph.D.
This is the initial paper by Dr. Tinker in which he derives a thermodynamic theory that surpasses existing theoretical efficiency findings in reproducing observed engine efficiencies. This new theory provides accurate and reliable efficiency prediction for a wide variety of heat engines including internal combustion, gas turbine (jet), and Stirling engines. Of greatest interest, however, is the theory's prediction of substantial gains in the efficiency of internal combustion engines with simple modifications to current designs.
